SwimGirl's gettin' ready to run her first 10k tom'w. Considering she won her age group for the 2010 Red Hook 5k, I'm not too worried about her finishing.

My journey started as I worked to deal with my mid-life crisis of turning 40. I trained for (and completed without embarrassing myself!) my first half-marathon in 2009. I now deal with the distractions of good wine, good friends, and the ongoing saga of being a teacher in NH.
Run - to stay in shape, enjoy good health, and for the chachkes (contributed by SwimGirl!). Do I love it? No. Will I continue? Yes....grumble.
